Takoda Kennels is located in Hustontown, South Central Pennsylvania and is owned and operated by Megan and her father Walter Curfman.  Megan is a Licensed veterinary technician and Walter is a retired school teacher/superintendent of schools.  Our Kennel name means "Friend to all" and we strive to socialize our Labradors to be great pets and family members.  We started with our first Labrador Retriever in 1996 and began breeding in 2000.  All of our dogs are OFA certified for hips and now elbows before they are bred and eyes are CERF clear.  Our dogs are mostly bred for pets or field dogs and have the American build or American and English build mixed.  We offer a 27 month hip and eye guarantee and all puppies are vet checked, have their first shots, wormed, and their dew claws removed before going to their new homes.  We have puppies in all three colors [chocolate, yellow, and black] available periodically.
